Our Story

Normotonic was founded in June 2022 by Reza Farokhian, a mechanical engineer and licensed massage therapist who works for Mercy, the city's second-largest hospital system. In his role, Reza assesses patients' needs and performs therapeutic massages to help them achieve their health goals. He collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, trains newly hired massage therapists, and has established a massage therapy office at Mercy's Center for Performance Medicine, where he provides exclusive sessions to resident surgeons, helping them relax and perform at their best.

As a therapist working on the front lines of patient care, Reza gained firsthand insight into the inefficiencies in the field. He experienced the daily challenges that healthcare professionals face and recognized the need for better tools that make treatments more effective and comfortable for both practitioners and patients. This commitment to solving real problems with innovative solutions led to the creation of Normotonic, starting with a single product—the Bottle Warming Holster—and gradually expanding its product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals.
